Paper Pieced Heart Chair

Again I wanted to show you that our background stamps can make a card on their own!  This time I used paper piecing technique with our Heart Chair stamp.  Not sure if you can see it on the photo, but I shaped the pieces from patterned paper to give the chair more dimension. 

I didn't add a sentiment to my card this time, I think it can be used for any occasion and I can stamp a sentiment inside when needed.

a quick Hello!

I am so in love with our Garden Bench stamp!  I think it's very elegant!  I wanted to make a card that shows it in it's full glory!  I wanted to show that most our background stamps can be used on their own too!  And also I wanted to show that even though our stamps are designed to be colored, they look great used in different mediums!!

Garden Bench and Sentiment (from Luka with Flowers stamp) are heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Free Pattern: Lacy Shells Hat - 6 Months

Newborn size here.

This sweet, lacy hat pattern will require intermediate skill level.  I modified one of my favorite stitches - the close scallop stitch from The Crochet Stitch Bible - creating increases for this feminine hat.

I made a stitch diagram for this pattern, to make it easier to "see," but, obviously, the diagram is meant to be used together with the pattern.  All the information in the pattern is not included in the diagram.

Dress Up Marci Trinket Box

Today I would like to share another Trinket Box project.  I had an idea of using the "Polaroid" frame and also wanted to do 3D paper piecing again.  For the paper piecing on Dress Up Marci I cut about 6 stamped images including two from designer paper, shaped and layered them together.  It is still not as "shapely" as I would liked it to be, for some reason after a while some of the parts flattened, but I still like the result.  I really need to look for a different type of adhesive. 

This is one of the projects for my FEBRUARY Workshop.
