Doctor Marci is in the House!

yup, she is and isn't she just the cutest little doctor?? She is one of the seven new digis at La La Land Crafts and you can order them HERE!

Okay, pop quiz! LOL What do you see on my cards over and over lately? RIBBON'S! Recently I bought over 30 rolls of ribbons and I have been using them on almost all of my cards! LOL I went a little crazy when I saw them on sale. LOL

I wanted to used this pretty lavender cardstock but didn't have the patterned papers to go with it. I decided to colored Marci with black and white and not use any patterned papers at all. Pretty cool color combo, huh?

I should probably invest in some lavender patterned papers since this is my fave color. This is such a romantic color!

Every time I see this image, I smile. Even better, when I showed it to my son Avery, HE smiled... and asked me print one off for him to color. I love that!

I paired Pilot Luka with patterned paper from the Campfire collection by October Afternoon. I also added a bit of white Fun Flock to give texture to his hat and coat trim.

Marci is Swingin'!

Now...get your mind out of the gutter!! Jana here with Sitting Marci having fun swinging along in an old tire swing, just enjoying the lovely weather we've been having here in California!

I played around with her hair some, and tried to give her some lovely auburn locks with the sun glistening on those adorable curls. What do you all think?? I used some new markers, E11, E08 and E09.

Don't forget, you can get all the images from the new Playtime collection which was debuted at CHA in digi format right now, and coming SOON in rubber too!!

Today, I am so excited to share one of the cards I made for La-La Land Crafts for Winter CHA! Chef Marci is from the NEW Play Time collection, and you can purchase her in DIGI, and soon in rubber!!

The designer papers are from the October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" collection! They are so delicious that I thought they'd go perfectly to highlight Chef Marci, especially with the designer paper from this collection that included the recipes!! The card base is from a Silhouette die! I've added some machine stitching, a couple of border edge punches, and topped it off with a pretty flower and sentiment I made from my PC!

Now that we showed our new stamps at CHA I can share with you what I designed for our Make-and-Take projects!! We had a different card everyday!! It was fun having people come back to do a new one day after day, we sure made a lot of friends!! You might even see some of these cards at your local Craft Stores as a lot of store owners made them for display at their stores!!

These cards measures 4" x 4".. pretty small, but pretty cute.. I think ;-) Wouldn't they make just a perfect enclosure cards??!!
