As sweet and lovely as a rose...

Good Morning and welcome to a new week in La-la Land! If you have been visiting daily, you have already met the little cutie I am presenting today. It's unanimous, the Design Team has flipped over Marci with Rose and we just can't get enough. She is absolutely precious and available for a limited time in digi form at the La-la Land Shop. Hurry before she slips away. If you are more of a rubber person, never fear, Marci with Rose will be back on September 15th making her rubber debut, along with the other new images you have seen recently.

Also in the shop, Cheerleader Marci is available as a digi. These images are original illustrations created by La-la Land's fearless leader and artist extraordinaire, Irina Blount in collaboration with Eric Berry. Irina and Eric have created a line of images perfect for every occasion. Marci with Rose!!

I'd like to introduce you to Marci with Rose today, isn't she pretty?! She's one of the new rubber stamps in the La La Land Crafts Marci line that will be released September 15th. If you like instant gratification you can buy her and Cheerleader Marci as a digital image for a limited time here.

I had the pleasure of coloring Marci with Copic markers. She's cut out with a Spellbinders die and I kept my layout simple using De Lovely patterned papers and black half pearls.

Framed Marci With Rose

Yay! Friday! I LOVE Fridays! Why? That means weekend is here! LOL

Today I have this lovely Marci With Rose to share! She is currently available as digi for a limited time at La La Land Crafts! Hurry before she turns into rubber!

This girly is as sweet as can be! When I first saw her, I thought of hearts so I just have to frame her with a heart! LOL I LOVE everything heart shaped...for real!

I thought it was fun to do a little patchwork on this card. Although I have a new sewing machine but I was too lazy to get it out. So, I did faux stitches on this card. Well, sometimes I do like to hand draw the stitches rather than the real thing.

The red heart is felt. I used my heart nesties for it. Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Don't forget, Cheerleader Marci is still available as a digi as well! If you rather have her in rubber, she will be on September 15th along with the rest of the Marci line!

Retro Marci with Rose

Hi everyone, Jana here! I just love all these adorable new Marci stamps! And this week's release is no exception! Meet Marci with Rose. She has such an old-world quality to her, I couldn't resist doing her as a black and white image (and the fact that I saw some work Marci creator Irina had done with this technique recently  - WOW!) This card just makes me think of my mom, who recently attended her 51st high school reunion.

I used this fun black and white houndstooth Norm's News paper from October Afternoon, along with some Pink Pirrouette from SU! I colored Marci with just a handful of copics, W1, 3, 5 and 7 and then R000, R00 and R11. I didn't think I could pull off the black and white look, and was pleasantly surprised with the results!

Marci with Rose is currently available in the digi-shop of the La-La Land Crafts Boutique--for those who can't wait for her September 15th debut in rubber--alongside cheerleader Marci. Hi!

Hi! I'm baaaack!!! LOL!!! Yes, it's me... Lisa! You might remember that I was part of La-La Land Craft's original Design Team, but stepped down at the end of June. Well, I missed "Lala Land" more than I thought I would, so when Irina opened the door for me to come back, I couldn't resist!

Things are better than ever around here with the introduction of Marci and Luka. OMGosh, are these images cute or what???? Irina has hit a home run and then some with these darlings!!! I could just pinch their cute little cheeks! And talk about fun to color! It's all good, my friends. It's all good.

My re-debut card features Marci With Rose, which is now available in digi form, but only for a very short time. She and the rest of the Marci images will be back on September 15th in rubber. Woo hoo! But for those of you who want instant gratification and can't wait, now's your chance!!!

Happy Birthday from Marci!!

Today at La-La Land Crafts we are previewing one more image from our First Release in Marci Collection. All of the stamps in this new release will be available in rubber on September 15th, but we have some images available in digi for your right now!! Including this new one, this is Marci with Rose!! CUTE!!!!

This card measures 6" x 6".

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the Graphic 45 paper from Steampunk Debutante Collection, the colors are just AWESOME!!! Chandelier was cut with Cricut "Summer in Paris" cartridge. EK Success border, corner and leaf punches. Circles were cut with Nestabilites.

This is the first time I made this type of flowers, so much FUN!!! I cut flowers out of DP with Tim Holtz die.. stamped script over with Penny Black stamp.. Crunched the flowers, crunched some more.. Inked edges of the flowers with Tim Holtz inks in Fired Brick and Vintage Photo. Crystal Stickles on the edges.. LOVE how they came out!!!

Marci was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped on dimensionals. Here is the list of Copics that I used to color this image:
