Jeremiah Ketner - Lost in Shinjuku

I don't know if you saw the gorgeous digital stamps from one of the newest artists in the Crafts and Me shop but the delicate drawings of  Jeremiah Ketner just blew mind. I was so eager to color one of those sweet girls so I chose the dreamy Lost in Shinjuku image. After I spent almost two hours in blissful coloring I was so happy with the final result that I put the image on an album in which I will store my markers's charts and samples for my coloring classes.

Bookaholic

Hi, all! It's Kaly here with a quick question - Do you like to read books? I love to...In fact I wish I have enough time to read non-stop till my hair grows this big :)

This quirky and funny image from the new The East Wind stamps is called Bookaholic and it was such an enjoyment to color. Then, like in a good story, I put on a lot of incompatible things like flowers and cogs, and feathers and lace, to make the card even more interesting.

Hope you like my red-haired girl and don't forget that you still have time to be a part of our March Flowers Challenge.

Free Crochet Pattern: Shamrock Applique

I'm not trying to clutter the blog-o-shpere with this little shammie, just wanted to write down the way I made mine on this little St Patrick's Day hat.  :)


Supplies:
A bit of worsted weight yarn
5mm hook

Instructions:

Round 1: Make a magic ring, make 9 sc inside the ring.  Pull tight, sl st to first sc to close.
Round 2: Ch 3, 3 tc in next sc.  Ch 3, sl st in next sc.  Repeat from * 3 times.  In last sc, ch 12.  Sl st in each ch back up to the sc, finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing on.

East Wind; Angel

Happy Sunday!

I am sooooo thrilled, I was attending a course yesterday, and it got my creative vibes going on high speed! Fear not, I willl tell you more once the course is completed, later this spring :)

On a more tell-tale note, I've had a play with The East Wind's new image, Angel

 She's a really sweet image, but I decided to grunge her up - as to show the versatility this image offers :)

And here she is all close up and nice; isn't she just great? :D 

I love the sweet kinda punky vibe she gives off.

Kisses for Mum

Good morning everyone :) 

I hope you're having a good start to your day.

I've had a play with the new image from Robin Pushay, 

Kisses for Mum. It's one out of four new images, all so gorgeous!

 I coloured the sky as a night-sky, the image features a sun and some skies; I wanted to build on the mysticism of mermaids :)

And here you see them upclose; Such a lovely image - and a thrill to play with! 

These images are all great for mothersday/ new baby/ national womans day 8th of March and so much more :)

Alice Lost

Hi all!  It's me (again, haha), Laila :)

I am here today to show you another great image - Hannah Lynn's new 

Alice Lost. 

I dont know about you guys - but I have a real waek spot for Alice in Wonderland - especially Burton's rendition - making this image too tempting to pass by.

 Slightly inspired by the Burton movie, I went for some pretty bright colours for my sake - but I think she came out nicely ^_^

A small close-up of the image - as you can see, the dress is very much inspired by the one she has in the movie :)
