Free Pattern: Crossed Texture Hat - 3 months

This is a thicker texture that I've seen a lot on Etsy.  It is simple, though it would not be a good project for beginners.  This hat is extra warm, so perfect for a snowy Christmas.

Hello Everyone,

Posts and challenges here have been few for the past six months, which you have probably noticed yourselves.

This is due to serious family health issues that took up most of my energy and concentration to get through it for my family and my own sanity.
Just when I thought I could carry on the business again we were getting another knock back, and to be honest I just could not cope with everything, it was just to much stress so the business had to take a back seat and trickle along, while we as a family did everything we could to pull together at such a difficult time.

I am now ready to come back and we are praying that this is the end of all our worries.

THE FINAL CHALLENGE FOR THIS YEAR WILL BE ON THE 12TH DECEMBER PLEASE POP BY TO SEE THE DT'S WONDERFUL CREATIONS AND WHAT THE THEME IS FOR DECEMBER.

Free Pattern: Lacy Tie-Back Headband - All Sizes

I saw a headband like this for sale on Etsy, and this was my attempt at it.  I love the way it turned out, so sophisticated.  It's lovely alone, and it would be a great base for a flower or other decoration.  Tie-backs make great gifts, since they fit such a range of head-sizes.

This hat is a worsted-weight copy of this hat.  I think it turned out really sweet.  It would be a great boy hat, too, especially in a color like this one.

Free Pattern: Polka-dot Headband - All sizes

I got the idea for this headband from a baby blanket I made for my daughter, but a meander through Etsy helped me perfect it.  I love it alone, and it would also make a great base for a flower or other decoration.  Since tie-backs can fit such a range of head sizes, this would make a lovely gift or item to donate.
